Resources are scare for detailed speaker box plans for subwoofers, woofers/mid-range and tweeters that make up sound system. Resources are scare for the hardware and wiring required for an active cross-over. Resources are scare for building a custom preamp.

Woodworking experience, woodworking tools, and audio experience. I've built a 3-way passive cross-over speaker system. The idea is to take my current knowledge and experience and scale this out to a larger sound system using an active cross-over.
